Abies Nordmaniana
The most popular Christmas Tree – and rightly so! Has long soft slightly-fragrant green leaves that add a Christmas feel to your decorations. Our container-grown trees easily tolerate being in-doors for up to 3 weeks during the festive period – though are quite thirsty and require a regular drink to keep fresh. Can be grown on in the same container for a year, after which should be either be re-potted or planted in a garden bed. We stock a range of sizes throughout the year from 12 ” pots to 6ft specimens. Annual grown is approximately 30cms and respond well to pruning to retain the typical Christmas tree shape.
A relatively quick growing variety which you can inexpensively grow at home, either in a container or in the garden bed. You will then be able to ‘cut your own’ tree or better still bring the pot in-doors at Christmas time. Then lovingly nuture for use next year….
