Abies Korean
One of the best cone-producing garden coifers, producing abundant small conical purple-brownish cones when about 1 metre tall. The cones are very attractive to birds – breaking down to release seed in January / February. Easy to grow in containers with annual growth of 15 cms a year. A relatively quick growing variety which you can inexpensively grow at home, either in a container or in the garden bed. You will then be able to ‘cut your own’ tree or better still bring the pot in-doors at Christmas time. Then lovingly nuture for use next year….
