Looking After Container Grown Christmas Trees at Christmas Time

Our container grown Christmas trees are specially grown to enable being inside your home for up to 3 weeks around Christmas time. We recommend you bringing it indoors about 10 days before Christmas so you can decorate and enjoy it. The ambiance of a living tree is very restful – and not a needle should drop….
During this time it is important to keep if moist by regular watering.

The best way is to stand it on one of our saucers ( or a tray if you have one?) and top up with water. The tree will then absorb water as required. Then keep the saucer topped up as required. After 12th night the tree should be returned outside – don’t worry, the tree won’t mind, even if frosty nights are now the norm. Your tree can now be kept for growing on in container and re-use next year, planted, given away or otherwise disposed of.
